ORIENTEERING!  Our 4th graders were introduced to this spatial skill this week during Integrated Technology.  They reviewed cardinal directions and so many other skills which link to S.S., Science, Math, and ELA.  We reviewed how to hold the map to find where you are in the “reality.”  All 4th grade students will be having another orienteering experience next week outside the building of KIS.

Fifth graders focused on safety this week.  They viewed a couple videos (different from 4th grade) and completed some Learning.com activities.  Again, Learning.com is a learning platform which has an extensive library of safety materials.  We will continue to discuss staying safe online throughout the year.  Next week, students will be creating a digital footprint using Taxedo, which some will be selected to display throughout the building.

Happy TE@CHing!
